Mysterio, born Miguel Ángel López Díaz, had a distinguished career in the Mexican wrestling scene, starting in 1976 and retiring in 2009. He was known for his high-flying style and was an influential figure both in the ring and as a trainer. Mysterio was also the uncle of WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
The wrestling community has expressed its condolences, as Rey Mysterio Sr. was widely respected for his contributions to the sport. His passing follows the recent death of his brother, Roberto Gutierrez, adding to the family’s grief.
