Olivia Munn, the esteemed US actress known for her roles in “The Newsroom,” “Magic Mike,” and “X-Men: Apocalypse,” has bravely shared her battle with breast cancer in an Instagram post

Munn revealed that she was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and has undergone four surgeries in the past 10 months, including a double mastectomy.
In her heartfelt post, Munn disclosed that despite testing negative for 90 different cancer genes and undergoing a mammogram, her doctor’s assessment of her breast cancer risk prompted further tests.
These tests revealed Luminal B cancer in both of her breasts, prompting her to undergo a double mastectomy just 30 days after the diagnosis.
Munn emphasized the aggressive nature of Luminal B cancer but expressed gratitude for catching it early enough to have treatment options.
She credited her partner, comedian John Mulaney, for his unwavering support and dedication throughout her journey, including researching treatments and being by her side during surgeries.
The actress conveyed her appreciation for her family, friends, and medical professionals who supported her during this challenging time.
Mulaney, in a comment on her post, also expressed his love and admiration for Munn, thanking her for her resilience and strength.
