Eseoghene Obire, popularly known as Xxsive and former boyfriend of actress Nkechi Blessing, has declared Davido biggest artist out of Africa
Worthy of note, Xxsive is a known Wizkid supporter.
He made the claim on Instagram following Davido’s appearance on Carter Efe’s Twitch livestream.
During the broadcast, Davido helped Carter Efe secure an endorsement deal. Their livestream also broke a record, becoming the most-watched Twitch livestream in Africa with over 80,000 viewers watching simultaneously.
Xxsive praised Davido for his proactive approach and willingness to support others in the industry.
His words;
“So, as a Wizkid fan, I’ll say it publicly Davido is the biggest artist in Africa, 100%. He didn’t just show up on the stream; he was making calls, connecting people, and making things happen.
“If Wizkid were in that studio, he wouldn’t call anyone. So if you’re waiting on Wizkid to make moves for you, you might be waiting forever.”
He also joked about switching allegiance from Wizkid’s fan base to Davido’s 30BG.
