Nigerian songstress Yemi Alade has shared her inspiring story of resilience and passion, marking 14 years in the music industry

Yemi Alade’s journey began in 2010 with her debut single “Fimile” featuring Eldee The Don. Since then, she has become a multi-award-winning artist known for her energetic performances and hit songs.
In an interview, she expressed her innate love for music, describing it as a gift and a calling that drives her forward. “I love music. It’s the one thing I’m gifted at. I’m deeply rooted and connected to music. It has chosen me as its messenger,” she said.
Acknowledging the industry’s tough nature, Yemi Alade believes that tough times don’t last, but tough people do. “The music industry has always been tough…but the strongest will always survive,” she added.
