Following days of public tension with Linc Edochie and his family, Yinka Theisen has issued an apology in a video message, asking for forgiveness and taking responsibility for her actions

“Hello everyone,” she began. “I decided to make this video to apologize to Linc. Sometimes when we’re hurting, we come from a place of pain. We say things we shouldn’t have said, we share things we shouldn’t have shared. I am guilty of that. I’m not perfect.”
Speaking directly to Linc, she continued:
“Linc, I am so sorry for hurting you. If I’ve hurt you in any way, please find it in your heart to forgive me. That was never my intention. When we came on social media, it was just to share something we thought was beautiful.”
Yinka also distanced herself from ongoing negative commentary being directed at Linc, clarifying that such remarks are not coming from her or done with her support.
“Anyone spreading hateful messages or saying mean things about Linc is not doing so on my behalf,” she said. “I’ve forgiven him. I hold no grudges. He’s an amazing man—kind and good-hearted.”
She ended the video on a warm and hopeful note:
“Again, I apologize for anything I said or did that hurt him. It’s a beautiful day here in Minnesota, and I wish all of you a beautiful, beautiful day. Take care, and God bless you.”
