Portable has publicly criticized his rival, Speed Darlington, following a viral video where Darlington admitted to engaging in sexual activity with a 15-year-old girl
In response, Portable labeled Darlington a “disgrace” to the Igbo community, accusing him of tarnishing the reputation of Igbo men, who are typically known for generously providing for women with money and gifts.
Portable condemned Darlington for allegedly boasting about taking a minor’s virginity for just N2000, contrasting this with the stereotype of Igbo men pampering women with lavish treatment, such as fine dining and comfort.
Portable further remarked, “This Speed Darlington, also known as Akpi, is a shame to Igbo men. He’s the first Igbo man I’ve seen who’s lazy and commits such acts. Igbo men usually spend generously on women, ensuring they’re well-fed and cared for. But this useless man is out here exploiting a young girl seeking admission, while others his age are working hard. He must face justice.”
Darlington is reportedly scheduled to appear at the NAPTIP office today to address questions regarding the controversial video in which he claimed to have slept with a minor in a hotel.
