Nollywood actor Stephen Alajemba, popularly known as Uwaezuoke, has shared his unorthodox opinion on marriage, stating that men should marry at least three wives to avoid being poisoned by their spouses
In an interview with Ugwumba TV, Uwaezuoke argued that marrying fewer than three wives puts a man’s life at risk.
He explained that having only one wife makes a man vulnerable to poisoning, while having two wives can lead to a conspiracy against him.
Uwaezuoke’s reasoning is that with three or more wives, each woman will be focused on her own interests and will not have the opportunity to conspire against their husband.
“It’s a sin to marry one or two wives. But if you marry three or four, you will be free from sin. If you marry one wife your life is at risk. The safety of the director is in the hands of the security. If you marry two wives, they will conspire to poison you.
“But if you marry three or more wives, they will all be on their own and you will only be providing for them. You will be taking turns with their meals and bedrooms.”
