Ladipoe defends Peller over Ycee OLODO comment

Rapper Ladipoe has publicly disagreed with Ycee’s comments about streamer Peller, saying education and intelligence should not be seen as the same thing.

Ycee had recently described Peller as part of an “Olodo uprising” during an interview on the Afropolitan Podcast, saying academic excellence is no longer being appreciated.

Reacting in a post on X, Ladipoe stated that a person’s level of education does not always reflect how intelligent they are.

“Education and intelligence aren’t the same thing. There are thoughtful people who never had much access to school, and there are highly educated people who confidently spread nonsense 😂,” he said.

Ladipoe’s response comes shortly after content creator Carter Efe also tried to separate himself from the criticism by sharing what he said was his Babcock University degree certificate and claiming he graduated with a First Class.

Ycee’s comments have continued to draw different reactions, with some agreeing that education deserves greater recognition, while others insist that intelligence cannot be judged solely by academic qualifications
