They are two of the best dressed royals, and now fans can steal Kate and Meghan’s style for as little as £40. The team behind an online fashion store has been painstakingly recreating some of the Duchesses’ most iconic looks for a bargain price – and some of the copycat pieces are so convincing shoppers will struggle to tell them apart.
Royal Look for Less (royallookforless.com) is a Toronto-based company that specialises in royal replicas, from rings and tiaras to ‘designer’ dresses.
One of their most popular pieces is a copycat of Kate’s £995 ‘Finella’ gown from Preen, less than 10 per cent of the designer price tag at £86.97, while the online store also sells knockoffs of Meghan’s Self Portrait dress and engagement outfit. They have been making good sales.
So can you tell the cut-price copycat from the real deal? Oh well…
