Emeka Nobis, a teacher, sparked a strong debate with his comments about the growing trend of online mining platforms like Hamster Kombat.
In a Facebook post that quickly gained attention, Nobis called people who play crypto mining games “unwise” for trusting what he sees as scams.
He aimed to discourage reliance on these online mining sites, where users typically engage in simple tasks like clicking buttons in hopes of earning cryptocurrencies or cash rewards.
Nobis stated, “People never learn. By tapping your phone, you want to become CEO and earn millions. Dumb skulls. Spend time to learn and do sustainable stuff, no. Dumb skulls. Sadly, they’ll still never learn. Another is coming to keep you busy tapping your phones and never spending energy to learn useful things.”
Interestingly, Hamster Kombat, one of the popular crypto-gaming platforms, launched on September 26, offering users rewards as low as N1 after nearly five months of effort.
