Portable has lashed out at his wife, Bewaji, shortly after publicly begging her amid his ongoing fallout with baby mama Ashabi
In a heated outburst, Portable insisted that he desires only one wife but blamed Bewaji for what he described as neglect in their marriage. According to him, her attitude pushed him into having children with other women.
“I love to have only one wife, but the one wife I had never checked up on me or cared about me. It is you women that push your husband outside,” he said.
The singer claimed that when another woman became pregnant for him, he pleaded with Bewaji to forgive him, stressing that he still respected her. However, he alleged that she showed no interest in staying in the marriage.
“You don’t call me, you don’t give me food and s*x on time. You don’t kneel for me, yet you kneel for your pastors, despite the fact that I was the one that trained you,” Portable stated.
He went further to lecture her on how to keep a man happy, arguing that many women outside are eager to treat another woman’s husband better than his own wife does at home.
“Many ladies outside are looking for husbands. Once they see someone else’s man, they will do everything to make him happy, yet you that is the wife will just be frowning in the house. You better draw me close,” he warned.
Portable also accused Bewaji of enjoying his financial support while refusing to reciprocate care and affection. He even complained about her allegedly stopping him from using her skincare products out of fear that other women would find him attractive.
“I am taking good care of you but you refused to take care of me. You didn’t allow me to use your cream, saying ladies will snatch me. See how dark my skin is,” he added.
The outburst has triggered intense reactions online, with many criticizing Portable for airing private marital issues publicly, while others debated his views on marriage and responsibility.
