Super Eagles and Bundesliga forward Victor Boniface has responded to a social media user who falsely accused him of failing a drugs test and being banned from football.
The user wrote on X; “Victor Boniface has now been banned from football for 2 years by FIFA after it was reported he tested positive for the hard drug tests, cocaine to be precise. Must Nigerian celebrities do drugs?”
Boniface fired back with a sharp reply: “Hope you get better lawyer. For ur sake I pray you get.”
There is no official record of Boniface facing any ban or testing positive for drugs, and the allegation appears entirely unfounded. The Nigerian striker has continued his professional career and recently resumed training following a knee surgery, aiming for a full comeback.
