Rapper Odumodublvck has advised fellow artists to avoid holding any grudges against Grammy-winning singer Wizkid.
During an interview with content creator Elsie in Toronto, Canada, Odumodublvck emphasized that resenting Wizkid is a form of self-sabotage.
He shared his perspective on collaborations, stating that he wouldn’t be upset if Wizkid featured on his album but chose not to promote it on social media.
“There are some artists that when you release music with them, they act like they are doing you a favor,” Odumodublvck said.
He added, “I’ve never released music and asked the artist I featured to post it. I don’t care if you promote it. You’ve done the most important thing by giving me a verse.”
Odumodublvck concluded by saying, “If Wizkid gives me a verse and my album comes out and he doesn’t post about it, I will not be angry. If you start hating on Wizkid Machala, you lose.”
