Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has addressed recent claims made by her colleague and former friend Yomi Fabiyi
Posting on Instagram on Sunday, Akindele appeared amused by the allegations, opting not to name anyone directly.
She hinted at the idea of accountability, writing: “I laugh in Swahili. You will reap what you sow.”
Fabiyi had alleged that Akindele distanced herself from him after he completed building his house. Speaking during a livestream, he expressed disappointment with the state of relationships in Nollywood:
“Our industry is very terrible. Those whom you think are good people aren’t. Funke Akindele was my friend from way back. The day I told her that I had completed my house was the last day she ever talked to me, and I didn’t offend her.”, he said.
