American YouTube personality Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, revealed that he is engaged to his girlfriend, Thea Booysen
The proposal took place on Christmas Day, surrounded by their families, and was made public through a series of adorable posts on social media.
MrBeast shared a romantic photo of the proposal moment, captioning it “Ya boy did a thing,” while Booysen posted a video showcasing her stunning diamond engagement ring.
In an interview with People magazine, Booysen recounted the special moment, saying that Donaldson asked her to close her eyes before presenting her with the final gift – the engagement ring.
The couple’s whirlwind romance began in 2022 when they met through a mutual friend in Booysen’s hometown of South Africa. MrBeast was immediately smitten, recalling that he knew within minutes of meeting Booysen that he wanted to date her.
Their relationship went public later that year, with the couple making their red carpet debut at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards and confirming their romance on Instagram.
