Yul Edochie has responded to allegations made by Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of Judy Austin, who claimed he was being denied access to his children.
Obasi had earlier spoken out, saying that he was denied access to his children for years and implying that Yul Edochie was somehow involved in the situation.
In his response, Yul Edochie dismissed the allegation, saying he has never stopped anyone from seeing their children and does not interfere in such personal matters.
He explained that the issue being raised should be handled directly between the both of them “Judy Austin and Emmanuel Obasi’ involved, not through him.
According to him, he had received messages from concerned fans who believed he was responsible for blocking access. He, however, insisted that the assumption was incorrect and based on a misunderstanding of the situation.
“I have never stopped anybody from seeing his children,” he said, addressing the claim directly. He added that the matter being discussed publicly has been exaggerated and taken out of its proper context
Yul also pointed out that social media often amplifies personal issues in ways that distort the original facts, saying that the ongoing narrative is influenced by public speculation rather than direct communication between the parties involved.
He further stated that if Emmanuel Obasi wants to see his children, the appropriate step would be to contact his ex-wife directly and have a proper discussion with her.
In his words, “Tell him to call his ex wife, if he wants to see or take his children, let them discuss it. He has her number. It has nothing to do with me.”
