Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has pushed back against recent allegations surrounding his relationship with Judy Austin, insisting that claims that he took another man’s wife are false and part of a broader campaign aimed at damaging his reputation
In a strongly worded statement, the actor noted what he described as years of criticism and a.ttacks directed at him, claiming that several accusations made against him over the past four years have failed to achieve their intended purpose.
According to Yul, the latest allegation being circulated is that he was responsible for taking another man’s wife. He denied the claim and said that the narrative ignores important details about the circumstances surrounding the previous marriage.
“My aura gives my enemies sleepless nights. In the last 4yrs they’ve told all sorts of lies against me and they all failed. Now their latest lie is that I took another man’s wife. A man who left his wife in 2013, married another woman and moved on.
Nobody heard his voice on social media.
”Years after he sees the ex wife is now doing well, he comes back to attach himself to her and say his wife was taken from him. All these coordinated lies just to bring me down. I laugh!.
His comments appeared to reference the recent allegations made by Judy Austin’s former husband Obasi Emmanuel which he said Yul was dating Judy Austin under his roof while he was still married to her.
Edochie went on to describe himself as resilient in the face of criticism, saying neither public attacks nor opposition from detractors had weakened his resolve. He attributed his continued success and popularity to divine favour, maintaining that his achievements are rooted in grace rather than public approval.
“If only they know the stuff I’m made of.
”I’m a rock. No mortal or spirit can bring me down. They can’t understand why my light is still shining bright. They can’t understand why I’m still standing strong, they can’t understand why my fans still love me. It’s called GRACE. I have God’s grace. Humans give birth but God chooses. I’m a chosen one. A Lion. A King.”
The actor also used the opportunity to reaffirm his confidence in his position and status, describing himself in regal terms while emphasizing his belief that he was destined for greatness.
“I am unstoppable. I’m a man after God’s heart. Kings are not made, Kings are born.
I am the great King of our time.
ISI MMILI JI OFOR. EZEDIKE 1 of Nteje. OKALA Mmadu OKALA Mmuo. THE KING OF WISDOM.
“Happy Father’s Day to me and to all great fathers all over the world. May we keep powering, Amen.”
