Veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji has recently opened up about his identity and heritage, revealing that he is not a full Nigerian
Born in Gabon to a father who frequently traveled for work, Orji shared this strange aspect of his life in a recent podcast interview.
Orji’s father gave him the middle name Amaefuna, meaning “Let my heritage not be lost.”
Orji described his recent trip back to Gabon as a turning point in reconnecting with his heritage, made possible by his career’s frequent travel opportunities, mirroring his father’s experiences.
This led him to research his family history and even shoot a movie in his country of origin.
