Veteran musician 2Baba — and Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru have welcomed their first child together
Rumours had spread earlier on Friday when Osawaru was seen at a medical facility, fuelling speculation that she was due for delivery.
The talk was confirmed hours later after she posted a short update on Facebook announcing the arrival of her baby, a message that immediately attracted a flood of congratulations online.
The birth adds another chapter to a relationship that has remained firmly in the public eye. 2Baba and Osawaru publicly solidified their union earlier this year, months after the singer’s split from Annie Idibia in January. Their journey — from the Valentine’s Eve proposal to family introductions and traditional rites — consistently drew attention.
By July, the pair had held a quiet traditional wedding in Abuja attended only by close family members, sealing their commitment ahead of the arrival of their newborn.
