Veteran musician 2Baba has opened up about how he handles online criticism and trolls

In an interview on “Binging With Game Changers,” he shared his approach to dealing with negative comments and backlash on social media.
The “African Queen” singer acknowledged that hurtful comments can be painful, but emphasized the importance of developing a thick skin and maintaining a positive outlook.
He advised focusing on personal growth and self-motivation, rather than letting the opinions of others define one’s self-worth.
2Baba also shared his coping mechanisms, including finding humor in situations and learning to laugh at jokes made at his expense.
He emphasized the importance of staying focused on his goals and finding solutions to problems, rather than getting bogged down by criticism.
The singer’s comments come amid recent controversy surrounding his personal life, including his split from Annie Idibia and his new relationship with Natasha Osawaru, which sparked widespread criticism and backlash from the public and some celebrities.
Here all he said:
“For me, I just knew that I had to stand up to my responsibility. Sometimes, things happen, and people talk all kinds of jokes and malicious comments. It hurts. It gets to you sometimes.
But know that this is the way of the world, you just have to be able to try and grow some thick skin and say ‘You know what, I am still going to keep my head high because I know that where I am going is bigger and better than all this stuff’.
“And I know that does not define me. It does not make me a monster. Within you, you have to cheer yourself up. Sometimes you watch a comedy show. Sometimes, you laugh at a joke made about you. Always try to turn every situation into positive. For me, I know that the moment I start worrying too much, it becomes more problem. I know that there is a solution to everything that comes up.”
