Following O.J. Simpson’s recent demise, sales of his book “If I Did It” have surged, propelling it to the top of bestseller lists.
The 1994 double murder case of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, which the book discusses hypothetically, reignited public interest.
On Amazon, the book now dominates the Criminology and Murder/True Crime sections. Originally met with outrage for its perceived exploitation of the tragedy, the project was cancelled before being released under the Goldman family’s control in 2007.
Despite ongoing disputes over royalties, the surge in sales suggests a significant payout for the Goldmans from the proceeds.
