Mr Ibu’s Family sets up GoFundMe page for funeral expenses

The family and friends of the late John Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, have established a GoFundMe page to assist with the costs of his funeral

Mr Ibu’s burial is scheduled to take place soon.

He passed away at Evercare Hospital in Lagos, after a long battle with an illness that required multiple surgeries, including leg amputation.

To honor his memory and celebrate his life, the central planning committee, comprised of family and friends, is organizing a funeral and seeking public donations to cover the expenses.

The committee explained that Mr Ibu’s medical bills were extensive, and they are urging the public to support this cause and give him the deserving farewell.

The funeral events will include a novelty match, a candlelight procession, and a wake keeping.
