Bayern Munich has secured a transfer agreement to bring Fulham’s midfielder Joao Palhinha to the team for a maximum amount of £47.4m

The initial payment to Fulham will be £43.2m, with an additional £4.2m in performance-related bonuses.
This transfer will set a new record for Fulham’s highest sale.
According to Sky Germany, Joao Palhinha will commit to a four-year contract at the Allianz Arena, delaying his medical examination until after Portugal’s Euro 2024 campaign concludes.
Portugal faces France in the quarterfinals in Hamburg on Friday, having won the tournament in 2016.
Joao Palhinha joined Fulham from Sporting Lisbon in 2022, and his move to Bayern was almost finalized last summer but was delayed due to Fulham’s inability to find a replacement.
Despite interest from Manchester United and Barcelona, Bayern persisted in their pursuit, and Fulham previously rejected a £45m offer from West Ham in July.
