Nigerian singer Yemi Alade recently talked about how she stays out of controversies in the music industry.
At an event for her new album ‘Rebel Queen‘ in Lagos, she explained her approach to dealing with negative comments.
Yemi Alade, known for her hit song ‘Johnny‘, said she doesn’t let other people’s opinions bother her too much. When she hears criticism that doesn’t sit well with her, she simply ignores it and moves on.
The singer believes in focusing on her own path. She said, “I’m just living my life because it’s only one life I’ve.” Alade acknowledges that everyone has a right to their own views, but she chooses not to dwell on negative feedback.
