In a recent interview on Daddy Freeze’s podcast, renowned music executive Paulo Okoye declared that Grammy Award-winning artist Burna Boy is currently Nigeria’s richest musician.
Okoye revealed that Burna Boy earned between $70 million and $80 million in 2023 alone.
During the podcast, Okoye highlighted Burna Boy’s small, close-knit team, consisting of just his mother, sister, and a few close friends. He also pointed out that despite his immense wealth, Burna Boy remains humble and doesn’t flaunt his financial success.
Okoye further commented on the emerging artist Rema, suggesting that the young star tends to overvalue himself in the industry.
