Zayn Malik’s fans shared their support after the singer announced a last-minute postponement of the first two shows on his ‘Stairway To The Sky‘ tour.
The 31-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal that his Edinburgh concerts, originally scheduled for November 20 and 21, have been rescheduled due to “unforeseen circumstances.”
The shows will now take place on December 8 and 9 at the same O2 Academy Edinburgh venue.
Zayn initially planned to begin his first solo tour in San Francisco on October 23 but postponed those dates to January following the tragic death of his former One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne.
As a result, the Edinburgh concerts would have marked the tour’s official start.
With the latest changes, the tour will now kick off in Leeds on November 23.
In a statement shared through his tour management’s social media, fans were assured that tickets for the original Edinburgh dates would remain valid for the new ones.
Fans quickly flooded his posts with well-wishes, offering their understanding and support.
