Louise Thompson, 34, marked her son Leo’s third birthday on Friday, grateful to be back home with her family after a serious health scare earlier in the week.
The former ‘Made In Chelsea‘ star underwent emergency surgery and went into septic shock but managed to recover in time to celebrate the special day.
While the family’s grand birthday plans, which included a luxurious staycation in Somerset with VIP zoo experiences and glamping, had to be cancelled, Louise shared her perspective on Instagram.
“It’s my son’s 3rd birthday,” she wrote, posting an adorable video of Leo.
“We were meant to have a big fancy family do… but we’re not, and it’s a bit of a shame, but a teeny tiny loss in the grand scheme of things. The main thing is that we’re back together and ticking along just fine.”
