The Lagos State Government today compensated 150 people whose lands were acquired for public use
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu presented cheques to the affected landowners at the Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa, Ikeja, today, Tuesday, 3rd December 2024.
He said the action was a fulfilment of the promise of fair compensation to them.
“Today, we held a symbolic public presentation of cheques for 150 beneficiaries who have been compensated for lands that were acquired by the Lagos State Government, in the interest of public good.
“This shows our commitment to fair compensation and also highlights the importance of community involvement in developmental projects that benefit the state,” the governor stated.
