Tottenham will face Liverpool, while Arsenal have been drawn against Newcastle in the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup
After edging Manchester United in a dramatic seven-goal quarter-final thriller on Thursday night, Spurs will host the current Premier League leaders in the first leg of their two-legged tie during the second week of January. The return fixture will take place at Anfield in early February.
Liverpool, the defending champions, secured their semi-final spot with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Southampton at St Mary’s on Wednesday. They aim for their fifth trip to Wembley in the last three years.
Meanwhile, Arsenal will host Newcastle for the first leg before traveling to St James’ Park for the decider. The Gunners earned their place in the final four by defeating Crystal Palace 3-2 on Wednesday, thanks to a hat-trick from Gabriel Jesus. Newcastle advanced with a 3-1 win over Brentford, highlighted by a brace from Sandro Tonali.
