A frustrated film enthusiast has taken to social media to express her disappointment with the current state of Nollywood productions, specifically calling out top actors and producers like Bimbo Ademoye, Ruth Kadiri, Nosa Rex, and Timini Egbuson
According to the lady, the YouTube movies produced by these industry heavyweights have become stale and predictable, relying on the same familiar faces and storylines.
She argued that this lack of creativity has resulted in a decline in quality, with modern producers prioritizing profit over artistic merit.
The fan nostalgically recalled the morally rich movies of the past, lamenting the fact that today’s producers are more concerned with churning out quantity rather than quality.
She pointed out that some movies feature as few as four characters, with crew members even being roped in to play minor roles, such as voiceovers for phone conversations.
The lady’s scathing critique implied that these actors and producers are more interested in lining their pockets than in creating meaningful, engaging films.
