Myles Lewis-Skelly, 18, has had his three-match suspension overturned after Arsenal appealed his red card in their 1-0 victory over Wolves on Saturday

The midfielder was sent off by referee Michael Oliver during the first half at Molineux following a challenge on Wolves defender Matt Doherty. Darren England, the match’s VAR, supported the decision, deeming it serious foul play.
However, an FA statement on Tuesday confirmed that an independent regulatory commission upheld Arsenal’s claim of wrongful dismissal, removing Lewis-Skelly’s suspension.
“The Arsenal player was sent off for serious foul play during their Premier League fixture against Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday, January 25, 2025,” the FA stated.
With the ban lifted, Lewis-Skelly is now eligible to feature in Premier League matches against Manchester City and Leicester, as well as the EFL Cup semi-final second leg at Newcastle.
