Nigerian film industry has been thrown into mourning with the passing of seasoned actor and academic, Columbus Irisoanga

The sad news was announced by actress Hilda Dokubo on her Instagram page.
Columbus Irisoanga was a multifaceted personality who made significant contributions to both the entertainment industry and education.
Apart from his illustrious acting career, he was also a senior lecturer in the Theatre Arts department at the University of Port Harcourt.
Irisoanga’s acting career spanned several decades, with notable roles in various Nollywood films. One of his most iconic performances was as the chief priest “Igbudu” in the 2001 movie “Isakaba.” He continued to act in Nollywood movies until his demise.
