Actress, Lizzy Gold has expressed disappointment and frustration with her father over what she perceives as an “entitlement mentality.”
The issue arose when Lizzy sent her father a substantial amount of money as an Easter gift, expecting a response or prayer in return, as had been their tradition.
However, her father simply replied with a brief “Thanks.” When Lizzy confronted him about his lack of enthusiasm, he claimed to have prayed for her in his heart.
Lizzy felt unappreciated, emphasizing that she works hard for her money and values the prayers and appreciation from her father.
She said:
“Normally, I always send money to my father. I do send money at night so that he will see the amount I have sent when he wakes up in the morning, because I love surprises.”
“You know that kind of feeling of giving your father big money and you are expecting to wake up and see some kind of prayers that will bubble you.”
“Daddy, I don’t pluck money from the trees. I work tirelessly for money. I enjoy the prayers. It gingers me to want to do more.”
