There's no cease-fire - Iran denies Trump's claims

Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, has denied any agreement on a ceasefire with Israel, stating that military operations will continue until Israel halts its “illegal aggression.”

Araghchi emphasized that Iran would consider suspending its actions only if Israel ceases hostilities first. He added that any decision regarding a ceasefire would be made once Israel halts its attacks.

“As of now, there is no agreement on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations,” Araghchi said in a statement, adding that Iran’s military actions would persist until Israel stops its aggression against the Iranian people. He further stated that if Israel stopped, Iran would have no intention to continue its response.

This rejection contradicts recent claims by U.S. President Donald Trump, who had announced a ceasefire deal between Israel and Iran.

Trump’s statement suggested a truce was imminent, but Iran’s position makes it clear that the situation remains unresolved, with both sides still awaiting reciprocal actions.
