Legendary singer, 2Baba, has announced a new management team as part of a major move to reshape and elevate his career
The music icon made the announcement via Instagram, accompanied by a joint press statement that highlighted his decades-long impact on the Afro-pop scene.
“We are pleased to officially announce a major chapter in the legendary career of Nigerian music icon, Innocent Ujah Idibia, known as 2Baba,” the statement read.
According to the statement, the newly assembled team is focused on amplifying 2Baba’s brand, tapping into new creative and business opportunities both within Africa and globally.
“With a career spanning over 30 years, 2Baba has redefined Afro-pop and inspired generations of artists. His timeless artistry, advocacy, and global appeal are hallmarks of excellence. This new team is here to build on that legacy,” it said.
The team will oversee all aspects of his career—from music and brand partnerships to international engagements and creative collaborations.
Reacting to the change, the African Queen crooner shared his excitement:
