Actor Jigan has denied accusations by VeryDarkMan regarding the alleged conspiracy after Mohbad’s demise

In a video posted online, Jigan admitted he was part of the group but insisted it was strictly set up to demand justice for the late singer. He said he joined after receiving a message asking if he wanted to be involved in the movement for justice, and he agreed because he genuinely cared about the case.
“‘Nigerians, you all remember that I used to reach out to the legends in the movie industry and I also have a foundation that helped people with disabilities,'” he said. “‘Mohbad d!ed two weeks after we made the video of the song where he mentioned my name and I was so sad when I heard that he d!ed. I started looking for justice on my page.'”
Jigan explained that the group was not a secret cult or a propaganda machine, but simply a platform where people were discussing ways to support the push for justice. However, he said that when it became clear that justice wasn’t forthcoming, he lost interest and stopped contributing.
“‘Nothing is hidden in the group. We were only talking about how to get justice,'” he added. “‘VeryDarkMan, I don’t know anything about Mohbad’s demise. You and I are doing the same job of helping people.'”
Jigan’s response comes amid growing attention on the claims made by VeryDarkMan, who alleged that the group was responsible for pushing coordinated narratives, leaking sensitive content, and attempting to cover up key facts related to Mohbad’s death.
