Music legend Ebenezer Obey has set the record straight about his health and debunked rumors of his d3ath
The 82-year-old juju icon appeared in a video with his sons, singing and reassuring fans that he’s alive and well.
Obey described the false reports as “lies from the kingdom of darkness” and clarified that he had traveled to London for personal care, not due to a stroke as some had claimed.
“I am alive, I am alive, says the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you very much. I don’t have a stroke. I came to London to look after myself,” he affirmed.
The video has sparked relief and joy from admirers, who have flooded his comment section with prayers and words of encouragement.
This isn’t the first time Obey has had to address such rumors, and his proactive response aims to put an end to the speculation.
