Fulham celebrated Nigeria’s 65th Independence anniversary with Nigerian stars at their Motspur Park training ground in London
The Premier League club shared a video on their official X account on Wednesday evening, showing players and staff joining in music, dancing, and traditional displays to commemorate the occasion.

The celebration featured green and white decorations inspired by the Nigerian flag, cupcakes with miniature flags, and staff and players dressed in Nigerian-themed attire, highlighting unity and cultural pride.

The soundtrack moved from P-Square’s Beautiful Onyinye to Tekno’s Pana and Fido’s Joy is Coming, while DJ Semss provided a mix of afrobeats and highlife to energize the gathering.
Fulham’s Nigerian stars, including Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and Samuel Chukwueze, took center stage alongside teammates such as Mali international Adama Traore. Players joined in traditional dances, blending the club’s professional identity with a celebration of cultural heritage.
