I met Yul at a GCE Centre – May Edochie

May Edochie shares the story of how she met her estranged husband, Yul Edochie, revealing that it was at a GCE Centre

According to May, their encounter took place years ago at a General Certificate Examination (GCE) center, where they both happened to be taking exams.

At the time, May had relocated from Lagos to Enugu State University to pursue her degree, while Yul was a student at the University of Port Harcourt.

May, a self-described bookworm, revealed that academics had always been her top priority.

She contrasted their humble meeting to the typical Hollywood romance narrative, saying they didn’t meet at a party or glamorous event, but rather at a place of academic pursuit.

May Edochie said: “Way back in school when I went to the East for my university, I’m a bookworm. It’s always been about books for me. We didn’t meet at a party or any glamorous settings, we met at a GCE centre,”
