Singer Timi Dakolo has ignited online discussion after publicly confronting O’tega Ogra, a senior aide to President Bola Tinubu, over what he claims is an unpaid job
On X, Dakolo urged Ogra to respond to his calls, tweeting, “Mr @otegaogra please pick your calls. I did my job.”
The musician did not reveal what the job involved or the amount owed, but the post quickly drew widespread attention, prompting fans and social media users to weigh in.
While some commenters expressed frustration, insisting that creatives and professionals deserve timely payment regardless of the client, others suggested that the situation could be a misunderstanding or administrative delay.
In response, Ogra emphasised that his official record “is public and stands on its merits” and cautioned that turning what he described as an institutional matter into a personal dispute could lead to “formal correction and appropriate professional and legal redress.”
