Former BBNaija Season 10 housemate, Thelma Lawson, has revealed that keeping up with the lifestyle expectations that came with fame has become expensive
In a recent chat with Yanga FM in Lagos, Thelma admitted that life after leaving the BBNaija house has been far more demanding than she anticipated, noting that maintaining her public image now comes with heavy financial pressure.
“Life after Big Brother is expensive,” she said. “I have to attend events regularly, and since people now see me as one of the most fashionable ex-housemates, there’s always an expectation for me to look a certain way.”
The reality star added that managing her business has made things even more challenging.
“It’s not just about appearances — my business needs constant restocking, and the cost of keeping everything running smoothly can be overwhelming,” she explained.
Thelma’s comments highlight a growing reality among former BBNaija stars, many of whom have spoken about the pressure to maintain a glamorous lifestyle even when the cameras stop rolling.
