Geh Geh has spilled the tea on what he believes is Wizkid’s secret to staying relevant in the music industry
In a video shared on his X page, Geh Geh claimed that Wizkid’s style involves forming strategic alliances and collaborations.
According to Geh Geh, when an artist is trending, Wizkid doesn’t directly pursue a feature. Instead, he leverages his connection with DJ Tunez, who acts as a middleman to secure collaborations. If the track flops, the focus falls on DJ Tunez, but if it succeeds, Wizkid gets the credit.
He said:
“If an artist is trending and everyone is eager to feature them, Wizkid doesn’t jump in directly. He contacts DJ Tunez, and Tunez brings Wizkid together with the trending artist. If the track doesn’t take off, people say it’s Tunez’s song, not Wizkid’s. But if it succeeds, the credit comes back to Wizkid”
