An Abuja Chief Magistrate Court has ordered Odumodublvck, to appear before it over allegations of criminal intimidation brought by Olayinka Osagie Onobun, Head of A&R at Chocolate City Music
According to a court summons dated November 3, 2025, Chief Magistrate Farida Ibrahim directed the rapper to appear in person on November 6 to answer the charges filed against him.
The complaint, submitted by Onobun’s lawyer, Pelumi Olajengbesi, accused Odumodublvck of making threatening posts on X aimed at intimidating the music executive.
Olajengbesi argued that the rapper’s actions were intended to instill fear and amounted to criminal intimidation under Sections 396 and 397 of the Penal Code Act applicable in the Federal Capital Territory.
The court’s directive comes after a petition from Onobun seeking a formal investigation and possible prosecution of the rapper.
This latest controversy follows Odumodublvck’s recent online clash with Morin Oluwatobi, manager of fellow rapper Blaqbonez, which reignited long-standing tensions between both artists.
In the midst of the controversy, Odumodublvck has also taken aim at veteran rapper Jude ‘MI’ Abaga, accusing him of hypocrisy and refusing to take a stand during the dispute.
The rapper recently wrote that the past few weeks have been “heavy,” adding that he and his friends have been “painted in terrible lights” and that a private issue has been “twisted into something it is not.”
