Burna Boy has addressed the backlash over his decision to ask a couple to leave his Colorado concert after they were reportedly seen sleeping during his performance

In a livestream following the incident, the Grammy-winning artist explained his actions, saying:

“I tell you say make una be my fans? We dey look for fans wey get money this period oh. Ara n Kan Gaza.”

The controversy began during his show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where Burna Boy noticed the couple dozing off in the front row.

He paused the concert and confronted them, insisting they leave before he could continue performing. The couple complied, prompting reactions from other fans in the audience.
