The woman at the center of the renewed paternity controversy involving Davido has finally broken silence, offering a detailed clarification after the singer publicly denied being the father of her daughter, Anu Adeleke
Speaking through her daughter’s Instagram account, the woman identified herself as Ayo Labinjoh and strongly rejected being described as Davido’s baby mama or being labeled a prostitute. She said her primary concern has always been her daughter’s mental health, especially after years of bullying linked to the unresolved paternity claims.

“Good evening, we are heading to bed now. First things first, my name is Ayo Labinjoh. I’m NOT Davido’s baby mama or a bitch. I am very protective of my daughter’s mental health after the level of bullying she went through for years. My daughter cried for days, fainted in school and went through psychotherapy,” she wrote.
Labinjoh explained that the family had largely moved on from the issue until it recently resurfaced online, forcing her daughter back into public attention. She accused Davido of ignoring her for years while privately painting her as a prostitute, a claim she flatly denied.
“David Adeleke has largely ignored me for years because he thought he picked up a prostitute from GQClub in Ibadan. I was a waitress and not picked up on the streets. I come from a good home,” she stated.
She also spoke about her background and her daughter’s character, describing Anu as intelligent, tech-savvy and well-protected from intrusive discussions about her family, both at home and in school.
Addressing Davido’s claim that five DNA tests had cleared him, Labinjoh challenged the narrative, alleging that the process was manipulated from the start. She claimed only one test was attempted in 2014 and that it was conducted under questionable conditions.
“Dr Deji Adeleke took us to a LAB not a hospital where Anu’s blood was drawn in 2014 then discarded behind our backs and fake result was printed,” she alleged, accusing members of Davido’s camp of misleading the public by repeatedly changing the number of DNA tests conducted.
Labinjoh said she was shocked to see her daughter trending again on social media, which she blamed on what she described as insulting comments and renewed denials from Davido.
“To my shock she was trending on X because her dad needed to call me a bitch that he’s never met yet he subjected himself to a DNA test 5X?” she wrote.
She further alleged that Davido privately messaged her daughter with threats and insults, describing his language as unacceptable and emotionally damaging.
“My daughter is fighting for her identity. David chatted my daughter tonight threatening to lock me up, cursing Anu and repeatedly bullying her,” she claimed.
Concluding her clarification, Labinjoh stressed that the issue is not about money or attention but about her daughter’s right to know her identity. She said she intends to push for a fresh, independently supervised DNA test, possibly involving international authorities, to ensure transparency.
“My daughter did not beg to be here… Bullying my daughter is WRONG.”

Dragging the singer online might not be the best in my opinion
