Gospel singer Tope Alabi has shared her excitement and gratitude following the birth of her daughter’s first child, marking a new chapter in her family as she becomes a grandmother
After the announcement, the singer took to social media to celebrate the arrival of her grandchild, posting a photo of herself lovingly holding the baby. She thanked God for the blessing and described the moment as one filled with overwhelming joy.
“I’m eternally grateful to God for this joyful addition to my family. Indeed Ayomiku, ayo si kun inu mi,” she wrote.
Tope Alabi also praised her daughter, Ayomiku Alabi, for her strength and growth into motherhood, expressing deep pride in her journey.
“My beautiful, strong girl @the_ayomikualabi_ I am so proud of the woman and mother you have become,” she added.
Welcoming her grandchild, the gospel singer shared how long she had anticipated the moment, describing being a grandmother as a role she cherishes deeply.
“Welcome to the world, my darling grandchild, I have dreamt of holding you for so long and now I’m showering you with kisses as I watch you grow. Being your grandma is my new favourite role,” she wrote.
