The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State is mourning the sudden de.ath of its Assistant Publicity Secretary, Karamo Yesiro.
Yesiro reportedly d!ed just a day after securing re-election into the party’s state executive committee during the APC state congress held at the Mobolaji Johnson Stadium.
The news of his passing was confirmed on Wednesday night in a statement released by the party’s State Publicity Secretary, Seye Oladejo.
According to the statement, the party received the development with shock and deep sadness, noting that his death came at a moment when his dedication and contributions to the progressive movement were greatly valued.
The APC described Yesiro as a committed and loyal member who strongly believed in the party’s vision and ideals.
“He was a vibrant party man whose contributions to the growth and stability of the APC in Lagos State will not be forgotten.”
The party added that although his time in office was abruptly ended, his humility, passion, and willingness to serve left a significant mark on party members and associates throughout the state.
Party leaders also expressed sympathy to his family, friends, political allies, and supporters, praying that they find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
The Lagos APC said the party stands together in grief over the loss of Yesiro, noting that his dedication and service to the progressive cause will always be remembered.
