You know those moments in church when a preacher says something that makes you squirm a little in your seat?
That’s exactly what happened when Prophet Odumeje, leaned into the microphone and told his congregation something most people rarely hear: stop complaining so much to God.
Instead of the usual pep talk, Odumeje asked a question that made everyone pause:
“How often do you thank God compared to how often you complain?”
He didn’t mince words. According to Odumeje, constantly complaining about personal struggles can signal ingratitude.
In his bold, signature style, he said:
“There is a way you will complain too much to God, He will kp@i you by Himself because you’re not the only person He created. You can’t even appreciate Him for keeping you alive.”
The Odumeje made it clear: life isn’t just about your own problems. God is handling massive issues in the world, far bigger than what any one person is facing.
And while humans fret over their little challenges, He’s busy keeping everything in order.
“The problem God is solving now is the international problems your personal local problem,” Odumeje added, reminding everyone that perspective is everything.
The message was more than a warning it was a call to reflect, to shift focus from endless complaints to genuine gratitude.
Odumeje challenged his listeners to ask themselves: Am I really appreciating the life I’ve been given? Or am I just counting problems?
With his usual flair, he left the congregation thinking, and maybe, just maybe, ready to change how they pray.
