Nollywood actress Bolaji Ogunmola has delivered a sharp response to a viewer who praised her movie with what she considered a backhanded compliment
The fan had written: “I’m not a fan but I loved this one. Great work”
Replying directly, the actress acknowledged the comment but added a blunt twist: “Thank you for the honesty and thank you for watching. I no really send your papa too so we are good”
Not stopping there, Ogunmola later took to her X account to express her frustration more clearly, calling out such remarks.
“You will give back handed compliments and expect niceness… 😒😒😒😒”
Her response has since stirred reactions online, with some people defending her stance on subtle criticism, while others felt her reply was unnecessarily harsh.
