Baba Ijesha has shared his personal account of Bobrisky’s time in custody, describing moments that painted a very different picture from what many people assumed.
According to him, Bobrisky struggled emotionally when he first arrived.
“When Bobrisky got to the cell, he was crying and rolling on the floor. It’s not true that he was taken to the hotel.”
He went on to explain that despite Bobrisky’s public persona, there’s more to him than people see online.
“Although, he always behave like a cartoon, he is actually a very reliable person.”
Baba Ijesha also highlighted Bobrisky’s generosity while in detention, noting how he treated fellow inmates.
“Whenever food was brought for him, he would share it with other prisoners.”
He further revealed that Bobrisky’s mother played a major role during that period, going above and beyond to support not just her child, but many others.
“It was his mum that used to bring food. She would cook for about 1000 prisoners and was always crying.”
Speaking about Bobrisky’s lifestyle, he added:
“All the female outfits Bobrisky wears, he uses it to make money. He is a very kind person.”
Baba Ijesha concluded by expressing how the experience has changed him personally:
“I am now the ambassador for prisoners.”
